The 'Liking' Interrogation

We all will get a crush sooner or later. Some of us have one at the moment. How do I know this? I just do. Trust me. Anyways, we sometimes keep that secret to ourselves (especially if you don't want me to know) and other times, we'll tell a certain few, trustworthy friends or/and siblings (if we have any). But, rarely, we tell our parents.

Usually and fortunately, they don't ask or care, unless they spot someone and whisper to you, "I never want you to date that person." as they point to the afore mentioned person. Though, we all fear the dreaded question that we will hear, one day, while riding in the car. "Do you like anyone?"

I have a feeling that those who do, at that moment, will try to act normal as they look outside the window, trying to hide their small smile, softly replying, "No..." And those who don't will just look at them and say, "No. Are you crazy?" Then, your parent will nod before asking, "Does anyone like you?"

That is where most people will almost certainly say "No.". But each person will have a different tones. Some will sound relieved and happy. Others will sound disappointed. While the rare few will either lie and say "No." a little bit too loudly or softly or will truthfully say, "Yes." before going on about the faller who fell for them. Anyways...I think those who lie will try to cover it up with, "Who the heck would tell their crush that they like them?" or "Of course not, Mom...I think at least." HEHEHE!

So, to wrap this weird blog post up, that was very unnecessary, I would like to say that 1) I don't think the realm of Reality can handle our awesomeness and 2)sixth grade is wrapping up pretty soon...ONWARDS IN LIFE!

Womp womp, Caitlin out.
