Sometimes we all fall asleep in a warm classroom when a teacher starts giving a dull lecture. Maybe we just zone out. Who can blame us? Plus you have to remember that Mrs. French doesn't like the noise of clicking pens, or that Mr. Turner really doesn't like being repeatedly interrupted. So to save you your sanity, we made a page with a link to "Homework Hotline" and all of the teachers' pet peeves.
Orchestra
Mr. Spragens is a good teacher. Make sure to practice your instrument each day and you'll be fine. Just don't EVER play while he's talking or play a different song than what you're supposed to be playing. Ever. Be careful not to trip over a cello, or talk when rehearsing.
Band
Mrs. Begley usually gives you homework: practicing your instrument, and a worksheet a week. She hates when people click their sticks, drop their sticks *cough*BOBBY*cough* distract other members when doing playing tests and asking/doing stupid things or else she'll hold up a sign that states "Don't do stupid things when Ms. Begley is around."
Chorus
Congratulations to the Tates Creek Middle Choir for getting all distinguished in the assessment field trip! More about Chorus will be added later...
Drama
Congratulations to everyone who got a part in the play, and everyone who tried out!!! Break a leg! No, for real, breaking a leg would at least give you an excuse not to be in the play if you change your mind.
Mrs. Schmidt (Math)
Mrs. Schmidt is an awesome teacher that does lots of fun hands on activities. Homework is usually Skill of the Week worksheets and the Pizazz worksheets.
Mrs. Vogel (Math)
Mrs. Vogel is generally a relaxed and happy teacher. She is funny and her class is usually fun for most of us.
Mr. Turner (Science and Social Studies)
Is a nice teacher. He is pretty serious though, so make sure you pay attention in class. He does give fairly big tests every once in a while. Be prepared to take notes. And no interrupting, or he will explode.
Mrs. Adams (Social Studies)
Mrs. Adams teaches ancient history and her class is fun. You get to watch videos, wage wars, and do hands on things. She is a very sweet and peppy teacher.
Mrs. Christ (Language Arts)
Mrs. Christ is rumored to be really strict, but in reality she is pretty nice and very funny. She isn't afraid to shame her students, so pay attention and don't do anything you would regret.
Mrs. French (Language Arts)
Mrs. French is a great teacher, and her classes were pretty fun. Prepare for daily grammar work, and weekly vocab tests. Don't steal her pens or click them repeatedly.
Mrs. Gonzalez (Science)
Mrs. Gonzalez is despised by many because of her strictness during lunch and her bellringers. She replaced Mr. Owen and always gives us worksheets.
Mrs. Sanders (Science)
There is no information about Mrs. Sanders.
